Michael Little

Michael Little is an accomplished author known for his humorous and insightful take on romance and modern life. Born and raised in Texas, he eventually found himself irresistibly drawn to the allure of the Hawaiian islands, where he now resides. Despite the geographical transition, Little has seamlessly blended the warmth, friendliness, and endless blue skies of his Texan upbringing with the unique beauty and rich culture of Hawaii.

Little's deep love for literature led him to pursue a Ph.D. in English from the University of Delaware, where he had the opportunity to delve into the depths of storytelling and refine his writing skills. It was during this transformative period that he discovered a passion for rodeo week in Reno, an annual event that served as the catalyst for his debut novel, Queen of the Rodeo. Published in 2001 by Triple Tree Publishing, the book immerses readers in the captivating world of rodeo, seamlessly blending adventure and the indomitable human spirit.

In addition to his achievements as an author, Little is an active participant in the literary community. He dedicated three years to serving as President of the Aloha Chapter of the Romance Writers of America, where his love for writing and the Hawaiian islands intertwined beautifully. During his tenure, he fostered a supportive environment for fellow writers, nurturing their talents and facilitating growth.

Driven by his passion for bringing writers together, Little founded and directed the Hawaii Fiction Writers, a vibrant community that provides a nurturing space for authors to explore their craft alongside fellow writers in their island neighborhood. This group serves as a platform for sharing stories, experiences, and a deep passion for the art of storytelling.

With a unique blend of humor, insight, and a keen eye for the intricacies of human relationships, Michael Little continues to captivate readers with his engaging narratives. Through his writing, he effortlessly merges the charm of his Texan roots with the allure of the Hawaiian paradise, creating literary works that reflect the joy and beauty of both worlds.
